My Nan Win, is my only hero and was one of the most kind, selfless people you could have met. Sadly she lost two of her four children to cancer, something no parent should go through.
Following their deaths she channelled her time, energy and love into helping others becoming a volunteer for the Osborne Partnership and volunteering for them several days a week for over 15 years until the time when she passed away in 2016.
Osborne’s main focus is to support people who have learning, physical or mental health needs. They provide support, information, advice and guidance across a range of training programmes and activities which help their partners to identify their needs, fulfil their potential and participate more fully in society. This is my opportunity to continue my Nan’s legacy and support this fantastic organisation.
